A full bag of spinach looks like enough to feed a table of six until it hits the pan and collapses into something the size of a quarter. I keep buying it like science will work out differently, but I'm always just left wondering where my vegetables (and money) went.

Set in Genoa City, it came in hotter than a lot of daytime soaps at the time, building its whole engine around romance, rivalry, and beautiful people making terrible decisions. It stuck, too. The show became daytime’s long-running ratings monster, won 11 Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Drama Series, and is still going more than 13,000 episodes later.

What's the main character's name in the original "Quantum Leap"?

Premiering in 1989, "Quantum Leap" is kind of a perfect show. First of all, it’s got the sci-fi element as a physicist travels through time. The catch? The only way he can travel is by “leaping” into other people’s bodies, he can’t leave until he solves some problem in that time, and he has partial amnesia and can’t really remember how even got in this mess.
