The view from the top is great, but the second you get up there, you realize the one thing missing from every photo is the tower itself. It's the same trap as the Empire State Building. You climb all the way up and accidentally remove the main subject from every shot you're about to take.

37 years ago TODAY, red scrunchies, croquet mallets, and teenage murder turned high school into a full-on cult classic when "Heathers" opened in 1989!

Winona Ryder’s Veronica starts out stuck in the Heather machine, then Christian Slater’s J.D. shows up and turns all that glossy 80s teen-movie polish into something meaner, darker, and way more quotable. It flopped in theaters, but it became the teen-movie cult classic every other dark high school movie gets compared to. It’s also the second Winona Ryder movie to become a musical, which isn’t a lot, but still weird that it happened twice.
