Happy National Breadstick Day!

No restaurant owns a food item like Olive Garden owns breadsticks. You can say "pizza" and think of dozens of places, or "tacos" without automatically picturing Taco Bell, or even "pancakes" without heading to IHOP. But breadsticks? Your brain went straight to those warm, garlicky sticks and unlimited refills before you could stop it.

Whose face was used for Michael Myers' mask in "Halloween"?

The year was 1978, and John Carpenter was trying to make "Halloween" on a shoestring budget. Rita Moreno’s “Hey, you guys!” became a battle cry, Morgan Freeman stole scenes as Easy Reader, and even Spider-Man swung through in word balloons to boost sight-word skills.

What street do the Simpsons live on?

Look, I’m not saying that The Simpsons 35 seasons-and-counting run isn’t impressive, but I am saying that’s simply too many seasons. You’ll never convince me that seasons 2 through 8 aren’t by far some of the best television ever made — sure, there are still some good moments after that, but it’s been a steady decline ever since.
