Question

What is the longest river in the world?

The answer is: Nile. The Nile and Amazon rivers have been locked in a battle for who’s longer, but ultimately the Nile wins out because of its clear source and how long the actual river can be clearly defined — about 4,160 miles. The Amazon’s sources are less clear and more varied, and by the time we can actually clearly define it as the Amazon, it “only” runs for about 2,300 miles — although the overall river system runs 3,976 miles. Still, not long enough. Sorry Amazon fans.Source
