"Every Breath You Take" appeared on The Police's last album, "Synchronicity," released in June 1983. Sting wrote the track while hiding out in Jamaica nursing a broken heart and some serious divorce drama. I can't imagine what the now-former Mrs. Sting must've thought when the lyric "I'll be watchin' you" came on (20 times), but these days it's the go-to wedding song.
