Who is the Norse god of war?

Tyr was the original Norse god of war and justice before Thor and Odin stole his thunder (pun absolutely intended) in Viking mythology. The supposedly mighty warrior god is mostly remembered for losing a hand-feeding contest with a giant wolf named Fenrir, which probably wasn't the legendary reputation he was hoping for in the hero business.
