Somehow, Game of Thrones made people without swords scarier than those with them. Seriously, I would rather be locked in a room to fight Jamie than have dinner with Cersei.

No other family in the show gets the sharp end of the stick worse than the Starks. By the end of the show there are, what, two left? And one’s crippled? But that’s just the show. If George ever decides he feels like writing another book sometime this decade maybe we’ll know what really happens.

Arya was never meant to be a fighter, but is smart enough to know that being able to stab someone is an important skill everyone should have in Westeros. She ends up getting one of the best stabbers in the world in the form of a sword made from Valyrian steel. Every good sword needs a name, right?
