Athletes have been competing for centuries, but the first organized Olympic Games go all the way back to 776 BC in Greece. Fast forward a couple thousand years and most of us are still chasing that same thrill, even if itβs just at the local rec league. Sports have this knack for pulling us out of everyday routines and making things feel a little bigger.
