You'll notice I didn't wish you a "Happy Oysters Rockefeller Day," and that's because there's nothing happy about it. 43 years ago TODAY, we learned how to dance our cares away when "Fraggle Rock" premiered on HBO in 1983!

Jim Henson’s show followed Gobo, Red, Wembley, Mokey, and Boober as they danced their cares away in Fraggle Rock, swiping Doozer constructions for snacks, dodging giant Gorgs in the garden, and occasionally popping up in “Outer Space” to bother Doc and his dog Sprocket. With a theme song you can still clap along to in your sleep and episodes that snuck in lessons about prejudice, the environment, and getting along, it became one of HBO’s first big kids’ series.

Tina Turner's raspy roar turned "The Best" into an international hit that would become her signature tune. That iconic saxophone solo and its chorus feels like it was designed for Turner's stadium singalongs, but she wasn't actually the first artist to record this power ballad.
