It's difficult to impart upon the youth of today how revolutionary it was when you could watch and record movies, TV shows, whatever, AT HOME. Hell, I didn't even fully grasp it. I really only ever knew a world where I could even set the VCR to record at a pre-planned date and time. Incredible.
