35 years ago TODAY, the ooze got loose when “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze” hit theaters in 1991!

The sequel brings Shredder back, digs into the mutagen that created the Turtles, and gives us a much goofier, more toy-ready vibe than the first movie. That lighter tone is exactly why so many 90s kids remember Vanilla Ice burning “Go ninja, go ninja, go” into their brains.
