I'm not going to sugar coat it (because it's already covered in honey): Baklava is one of mankind's greatest desserts. That crunch when you bite into all 47 buttery layers of phyllo dough is worth every sticky finger.

Which "Star Wars" character was introduced in "The Star Wars Holiday Special"?

"The Star Wars Holiday Special" has become the stuff of legend among fans, but not for the reasons CBS hoped. This trainwreck of variety show segments and Wookiee family drama was so embarrassing that George Lucas has spent decades pretending it doesn't exist. Buried in this disaster was one shining moment that introduced audiences to one of the most iconic characters in the galaxy. Which "Star Wars" character made their debut in "The Star Wars Holiday Special"?

Retro Rewind: On This Day

36 years ago TODAY, one princess found her voice and one pup found his halo when “The Little Mermaid” and “All Dogs Go to Heaven” opened on the same day in 1989!

“The Little Mermaid” kicked off Disney’s 90s comeback with songs like “Part of Your World,” “Kiss the Girl,” and “Under the Sea,” and it won Oscars for Best Original Score and Best Original Song. “All Dogs Go to Heaven” opened that same Friday before Thanksgiving and continued the Disney vs. Don Bluth rivalry.

Even though “All Dogs Go to Heaven” was outgunned at the box office, it became a sleepover staple on VHS and got a sequel and a TV series (and "Let's Make Music Together" is one of my all-time favorite animated movie songs). What does Ariel call a fork in 1989's "The Little Mermaid"?
