Happy International Sudoku Day!

Those little 9x9 grids look innocent until you're staring at one box for twenty minutes trying to figure out if it needs a four or a six. The rules couldn't be simpler, but your brain still finds creative ways to mess up the most obvious placements. At least when you finally crack a tough puzzle, that moment of triumph makes all the eraser marks and crossed-out numbers totally worth it.

30 years ago TODAY, the "Kids' WB!" programming block debuted on The WB channel (how's that for a double throwback)! At launch, the block featured three shows produced by Steven Spielberg –"Animaniacs," "Pinky and the Brain," "Freakzoid!" It was also the home of late-millennial favorites like "Superman: The Animated Series," "Batman Beyond," and "What's New, Scooby-Doo?"
