"Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" was the hit song behind "Mannequin," possibly one of the strangest movies to come out of the golden era of romcoms. As a reminder, an artist working at a department store falls in love with a mannequin that only becomes human when he's around, and it's all because of an ancient Egyptian curse. Sure bud, I totally believe you. The song itself earned Starship their third #1 hit and made Grace Slick, at 47, the oldest female singer to top the Billboard Hot 100, a record she held until Cher's "Believe" in 1999.
