"Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" is the theme song for which movie?

The 1980s blessed us with power ballads that could make a statue cry. With soaring vocals from Grace Slick and Mickey Thomas, it's no surprise that Jefferson Starship's "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" rocketed to #1 in 1987, becoming an instant anthem for anyone chasing their dreams, or love, or both. Which hit movie featured "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" as its theme song?
▼
Correct Answer: Mannequin
"Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" was the hit song behind "Mannequin," possibly one of the strangest movies to come out of the golden era of romcoms. As a reminder, an artist working at a department store falls in love with a mannequin that only becomes human when he's around, and it's all because of an ancient Egyptian curse. Sure bud, I totally believe you. The song itself earned Starship their third #1 hit and made Grace Slick, at 47, the oldest female singer to top the Billboard Hot 100, a record she held until Cher's "Believe" in 1999.
