What is the first Pokémon in the Pokédex?

Who’s that Pokémon? Don’t ask Ash because that kid took over 20 years to become a Pokémon champion. Not to brag or anything, but I did that when I was 7 and didn’t even understand how type advantages worked.

Ever since Red and Blue hit the Game Boy, Pokémon mania has swept the world. Pokémon have been put on cards, TV, film, toys, and basically anything else you can imagine. I bet you could find Pokémon-branded lawnmowers at this point.

I guess you could call me a boomer going by Pokémon generations because new Pokémon introduced after the first four or five generations are questionable at best. Seriously, they’ve resorted to slapping eyes on ice cream and key rings at this point.

Those first 151 though, that’s where it’s at. And that number is important because every Pokémon has a specific spot in the Pokédex from 1 through what is now 1,025. Still feel like trying to catch ‘em all? Yeah, neither do I. But which one holds that coveted #1 slot?
