Anytime I handle a physical video game disc these days I freak out. It's like my hands stop working and I feel like every second is filled with anxiety. What if I scratch it? What if I spill something on it? What if I accidentally throw it in the street?
But back in the before times, we only had physical media if we wanted to play video games at home. That's right, we're talking about the almighty cartridge.
Back then we'd just pass them around like candy, and if anything seemed a little off all you had to do was just blow into that bad boy and you'd be all set. At least, that's how it seemed, but some people have ruined that notion. Not gonna stop me, though.
What video game console was the first to use the magical game cartridge?
