Back when finding anime meant praying Blockbuster had a scratchy VHS copy of "Akira" hidden between the action movies, most of us had no idea what we were getting into. Those fuzzy afternoon reruns of "Sailor Moon" and "Dragon Ball Z" might have had questionable dubbing, but they opened up a whole new world of animation possibilities. Now the hardest part is just deciding which of the thousand streaming shows to watch first.
