When "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" first aired in 1999, a million bucks was genuinely set-for-life money, but they never adjusted for inflation. Don't get me wrong, I'd still sit in the chair just so I could lock in every "final answer" with some dramatic flair, even on those $200 easy ones.
