Nerdy Trivia: September 20, 2025

Batman gets to drive the coolest car ever made, live in a mansion with secret passages, and his day job is literally being rich. The man has a different gadget for every possible scenario tucked into that utility belt, including shark repellent because apparently Gotham's crime problems extend to the aquatic realm. And while I'm sure Gotham is grateful, the fact that they needed a guy dressed like a bat to save them is a pretty damning indictment of Gotham's police department, sorry Gordon.

Tony Danza strutted into living rooms across America in 1984 as Tony Micelli, a Brooklyn tough guy turned Connecticut housekeeper. The premise was that this ex-jock could cook, clean, and raise kids better than most moms. What sport did Tony play before he became the housekeeper on "Who's the Boss?"

29 years ago TODAY, Bette Midler, Goldie Hawn, and Diane Keaton showed us no one owned them when "The First Wives Club" was released in 1996! Despite mixed reviews, the movie became both a box office success AND developed a cult following. Even in 2023, people in the U.K. said the film was one of their favorites for getting over heartbreak. Fans are still eagerly awaiting a sequel, which all three stars are on board for, even if it can't quite get off the ground.

Batman movies have really given us a lot, and much of it has centered around the costumes. Whether you're a fan of the Adam West gray, or you like the, er, replica of muscles and nipples, there's a little something for everyone.
