What's the name of the island in Jurassic Park?

I mean, if I could have the chance to bring dinosaurs back to life, I don't think I'd worry too much about if I should either.
One of the things that always made Michael Crichton books so good was their settings — no matter how ridiculous the plot might be, the settings really brought the stories to life.
When Stephen Spielberg basically got Crichton to write Jurassic Park so he could make a movie out of it, he carried that perfect setting right over onto the screen. So where did all the magic happen?

Correct Answer: Isla Nublar
The answer is: Isla Nublar. This fictional island, set near Costa Rica, is where all the magic happens. If by "magic" you mean dinosaurs eating humans.Isla Nublar — which I thought had less Ls until an old coworker helpfully called me out on Twitter — is where the park was to operate in both the original Jurassic Park novel and film. It's also where they apparently said, "meh it will be fine for round 2" and built Jurassic World there. Some research was also performed at Isla Sorna. Isla Mujeres is a lovely place to vacation, not a single raptor.Source
