Which movie features the von Trapp family?

Correct Answer: The Sound of Music
(Source)You probably read that question and immediately pictured Julie Andrews spinning in the Alps. Maria von Trapp published her memoir in 1949, and the story eventually made its way from German film adaptations to Broadway to Hollywood. "The Sound of Music" grossed $286 million worldwide, dethroned "Gone with the Wind" as the highest-grossing film ever, and ran in theaters for four and a half years. Von Trapp said Andrews was "too gentle" for the role, and co-star Christopher Plummer agreed, saying the whole production was so sweet he referred to it as "The Sound of Mucus."
