Tea. Soccer. Mr. Bean. Of all the things we've imported from Britain in modern times, Mr. Bean belongs right at the top of the list, if not at the very top.
As I often do, I like to muse about how the pitch for this show went down. It must have been like the pitch for Seinfeld (a show about nothing), except they added that there's only one main character who never says anything.
Somehow, this extremely strange character is also extremely lovable. What would we do without Bean's hijinks in our lives?
It feels like he's been around forever. So how many seasons of Mr. Bean are there?

Correct Answer: 1
The answer is: 1. How in the heyall can a character so deeply embedded in our cultural and personal identities have only ever had 1 measly season on TV? I DON'T KNOW. For all the (deserved) fanfare our friend Bean receives, the British sitcom following a hapless yet lovable (and silent) "adult" only ran for 1 season with 15 episodes. Although, it did take 5 years (~1990-95) for those episodes to all be broadcast, which may explain why it seemed so much longer. That and perhaps the fact that he's had two movies, and countless random appearances that are still going strong.Source
