Actress Dawnn Lewis (1961) broke big as Jaleesa Vinson-Taylor on "A Different World" and co-wrote the theme song, then joined "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper." She was the voice of Captain Carol Freeman on "Star Trek: Lower Decks" and is back as Jaleesa in the coming "A Different World" sequel.
Actor John Slattery (1962) put in early TV time on "Homefront" and "Ed," then picked up four Emmy nominations as Roger Sterling on "Mad Men" and turned up as Howard Stark in "Iron Man 2." "Spotlight" won Best Picture with him in the newsroom, and he's since played Leo F. Drummond on "The Rainmaker" and John on "Vladimir."
Actor Debi Mazar (1964) did Madonna's makeup before turning up in five of her videos, and broke through as Sandy in "Goodfellas." She was Denise Iannello on "Civil Wars" and "L.A. Law," handled Hollywood as Shauna Roberts on "Entourage," and more recently played Maggie Amato on "Younger" and Medusa on "Kaos."
Actor Sebastian Stan (1982) traded "Gossip Girl" for Bucky Barnes in "Captain America: The First Avenger" and rode the role across the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He took home a Golden Globe for "A Different Man," came back as Bucky in "Thunderbolts*," and starred in "Fjord," and the film took the Palme d'Or at Cannes.
