Actress Sônia Braga (1950) broke out worldwide with "Dona Flor and Her Two Husbands" and earned a Golden Globe nomination for "Kiss of the Spider Woman." She later carried "Aquarius" and turned up in "Bacurau" and "The First Omen."
Singer Bonnie Tyler (1951) rasped her way to fame with "It's a Heartache" and went global with "Total Eclipse of the Heart." She belted "Holding Out for a Hero" for "Footloose" and sang for the United Kingdom at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest with "Believe in Me."
Comedian-director Keenen Ivory Wayans (1958) created and hosted "In Living Color" and took home an Emmy for it. He directed the original "Scary Movie" and co-wrote and directed "White Chicks."
Actress Julianna Margulies (1966) won an Emmy as nurse Carol Hathaway on "ER" and headlined "The Good Wife" as Alicia Florrick, where she picked up two more. She's since joined "The Morning Show" as Laura Peterson.
