Actress Frances Fisher (1952) played Detective Deborah Saxon on "The Edge of Night" before her breakout in the Best Picture winner "Unforgiven." She portrayed Ruth DeWitt Bukater in "Titanic" and appeared on HBO's "Watchmen."

Actress Shohreh Aghdashloo (1952) earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for "House of Sand and Fog" and won a Primetime Emmy for "House of Saddam." She played Dina Araz on "24" and Chrisjen Avasarala on "The Expanse."

Actor Tim Blake Nelson (1964) broke through as Delmar O'Donnell in "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" and racked up further credits in "Holes," "Lincoln," and "The Ballad of Buster Scruggs." He played Wade Tillman / Looking Glass on HBO's "Watchmen" and reprised the role of Samuel Sterns / The Leader in "Captain America: Brave New World."

Actor Jeffrey Donovan (1968) starred as Michael Westen on USA's "Burn Notice." He played mobster Dodd Gerhardt on "Fargo," both Kennedy brothers in "J. Edgar" and "LBJ," and Detective Frank Cosgrove on the revival of "Law & Order."

Football player Cam Newton (1989) won the Heisman Trophy at Auburn and was selected first overall by the Carolina Panthers in the NFL Draft. He earned Offensive Rookie of the Year and led Carolina to Super Bowl 50, picking up the NFL MVP award along the way and becoming the first African-American quarterback to win it outright.

Singer Sabrina Carpenter (1999) got her start as Maya Hart on Disney Channel's "Girl Meets World" before signing with Island Records and breaking through with "emails i can't send." Her 2024 album "Short n' Sweet" debuted atop the Billboard 200 and won her two Grammys including Best Pop Vocal Album, and its follow-up "Man's Best Friend" also topped the chart with the number-one single "Manchild."
