Singer Lulu (1948) scored her first hit with "Shout," sent "To Sir with Love" to No. 1 in the U.S., and sang the title theme for "The Man with the Golden Gun." She topped the UK chart for the first time with "Relight My Fire" and, despite calling her Bond theme probably the worst ever, sang it again at the BBC Proms this summer.
Voice actor Jim Cummings (1952) took over as Winnie the Pooh and Tigger and starred as the title hero of "Darkwing Duck." One critic called his Pooh in "Christopher Robin" Oscar-worthy, and he picked up an Inkpot Award at San Diego Comic-Con.
Actress Kate Capshaw (1953) met her future husband during auditions for "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom," played Willie Scott in it, and followed with "Dreamscape," "SpaceCamp," and "Black Rain." She later picked up a paintbrush, and her portrait of him went on view at the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery.
Actor Dolph Lundgren (1957) broke through saying "I must break you" as Ivan Drago in "Rocky IV" and headlined "Masters of the Universe" as He-Man. He joined "The Expendables," came back as Drago in "Creed II," and passed the torch with a cameo in this year's "Masters of the Universe."
