He played Psi Cop Alfred Bester on "Babylon 5" and came back to voice President Anton Chekov on "Star Trek: Picard."
Singer Morten Harket (1959) sent his falsetto into orbit on A-ha's "Take On Me" and turned up as a pencil sketch in the video. He handed Bond a theme song with "The Living Daylights" and brought A-ha back for "True North."
Actress Melissa Leo (1960) broke through as Sgt. Kay Howard on "Homicide: Life on the Street" and got an Oscar nomination for "Frozen River." She won Best Supporting Actress for "The Fighter," let an expletive slip into the acceptance speech, and took a Primetime Emmy for guesting on "Louie."
Actress Faith Ford (1964) turned former Miss America Corky Sherwood into five Primetime Emmy nominations on "Murphy Brown." She co-led "Hope & Faith," brought Corky back for the revival, and played Abby Stone's mother on "Night Court."
Director Bong Joon-ho (1969) made his name with "Memories of Murder" and went global with "Snowpiercer." He told everyone to get over the one-inch-tall barrier of subtitles, then "Parasite" won the first Best Picture ever given to a film not in English, and he followed it with "Mickey 17."
Actor Andrew Lincoln (1973) came up as Egg on "This Life," then turned up on a doorstep with a stack of cue cards in "Love Actually." He carried "The Walking Dead" as deputy sheriff Rick Grimes and headlined "Coldwater" on ITV.
Rapper Nas (1973) was 20 when he dropped "Illmatic" out of the Queensbridge projects, then took "It Was Written" to number one. He sat through more than a dozen nominations before "King's Disease" finally got him a Grammy, and last year he made a whole album with DJ Premier called "Light-Years."
