The very first website, attributed to the good folks at CERN, was just information about how the internet could be used to exchange information. Even that one little webpage felt like it was packed full of stuff — and that was way before the dancing hamsters!

Aside from those old mixtapes you still have stored in the basement somewhere, most of the world's information has been put onto the internet in some form or another. Today you can pull it up at the literal tap of a finger.
