Guess the song: "Put on your red shoes and dance the blues"

"Put on your red shoes and dance the blues" doesn't make a ton of sense on paper, but in 1983 nobody was asking questions. The song hit #1 in over 11 countries. Which song starts with that iconic line?

Correct Answer: Let's Dance
(Source)Not a lot of people would call a #1 single and 10 million album sales a failure, but David Bowie wasn't a lot of people. "Let's Dance" was his return to music after three years of near-silence following John Lennon's murder, and producer Nile Rodgers completely transformed his folk-like demo into a mainstream pop smash. EMI called it their fastest-selling record since "Sgt. Pepper's." But Bowie later admitted he'd lost touch and called this era his "Phil Collins years" (Phil Collins was doing just fine, for the record).
