The answer is: Two days. John Hughes wrote the coming-of-age classic The Breakfast Club in just two days. Some of the film’s most memorable moments, however, were improvised. Judd Nelson improvised the iconic raised fist that closes the movie. He also improvised the part where his character spits in the air and catches it.Source
