As I have learned while writing this, if you do a search for Fleetwood Mac images, 99.97% of the results are of Stevie Nicks.
Yet there was an era before Stevie (and Lindsey Buckingham, but c'mon) was even in the band. Mick Fleetwood was busy melting faces before that iconic voice and those legendary dance moves helped to take the band into a new stratosphere.

In just a seven-year span, the British-American blues-rock-jam band Fleetwood Mac pumped out seven albums, including an eponymous debut in 1968.But after Mick Fleetwood heard the acoustic duo of Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks he knew he must have them. In 1975 the two less successful entities combined into an absolute monster for the band's renewal — and second self-titled album.Source
