How many Led Zeppelin studio albums reached number one on the Billboard 200?

Robert Plant got into a car accident in 1975, and Led Zeppelin still knocked out "Presence" in 18 days with him singing from a wheelchair. Of course it hit number one because that's the kind of run you'd expect from a group that many consider not just an all-time great rock band, but THE all-time greatest. How many of their studio albums reached number one on the Billboard 200?
▼
Correct Answer: 6
(Source)Sure, "Led Zeppelin IV" is their most iconic album with their most iconic song, but Carole King's "Tapestry" blocked it from topping the charts. And if you're counting "How the West Was Won" to get to seven, that's a live album, so sit back down. Their ridiculous run started when "Led Zeppelin II" dethroned "Abbey Road" and finished when they released "In Through the Out Door." "Stairway to Heaven" might not live on a Billboard 200 number one album, but it's safe to say the double-diamond certified "Led Zeppelin IV" still made the earth move.
