Run, Forrest, run!
It’s one of those lines that even people who’ve never seen 1994’s Forrest Gump shout anytime they see someone running.
Besides the double-cassette soundtrack completely rocking, there is indeed A LOT of running in this movie, mostly by Forrest. Even as a child, he breaks out of his leg braces and earns a football scholarship thanks to this natural talent.
But it’s after a night of finally connecting romantically with the love of his life, Jenny, that Forrest really puts those legs to work. After discovering that Jenny has quietly left him yet again, he starts to run, garnering followers and national attention, until one day he just as quickly decides to stop.
