Either way, those who lived through the transition to cellphones will never stop being amazed by them — nor telling youngins how ungrateful they are. And we also really love to laugh at how ridiculous the very first mobile phones were.
But were they really as obnoxious as we remember? One way to figure that out is to consider how much phones have changed in weight. Typically weighing less than half a pound these days, how heavy was the first one?

Hell, I can’t believe people even wanted to use this thing for calling people.
