In "Saved by the Bell," what does the A.C. in A.C. Slater stand for?

One of the smartest things the producers of "Saved by the Bell" ever did was to add one A.C. Slater to the show.
Back when the show was known by another name, there was no Slater. Hard to understand a world in which that's the case.
It's probably why that version of the show failed miserably, and a new one was born in its place — featuring a new character in our man A.C.
Nabbing Mario Lopez from the underrated Kids Incorporated to play the role meant that Slater could dance, play the drums, and even rock a leotard, should it be asked of him.
Yet I don't think even once in my life have I stopped to think about what "A.C." actually stands for. Do you know?

Correct Answer: Albert Clifford
The answer is: Albert Clifford. A.C. Slater, Zack Morris’ former nemesis turned best friend on Saved By The Bell, has a full name most fans don’t know: Albert Clifford Slater. Fans who watch the spinoff Saved By The Bell: The College Years would learn that Slater’s real last name was Sanchez, but his dad changed it 25 years prior to getting into military academy. His dad felt he needed to hide his heritage to be accepted. Slater apparently felt like he had to hide the name Albert.Source
