While today we look back at so-called Spaghetti Westerns and revere them for the brilliant pieces of cinematic history they are, when The Good, the Bad and the Ugly came out in 1966 it was met with mixed reception. Apparently, people didn't really love what these Italians were doing to Westerns.

But as the final piece in the Dollars Trilogy, it ultimately became a box-office success that catapulted Clint Eastwood into stardom.

In the movie, three characters represent the three qualities from the title, and they all get a fun little nickname. What was Clint Eastwood's character called?

The answer is: Blondie. Clint Eastwood plays a man with no name but is called Blondie by his compatriots, because you have to call him something.Of the trio, Blondie represents the good — which totally makes sense for a violent bounty hunter looking for gold.Source
