In which season did "Baywatch" move to Hawaii?

David Hasselhoff was "Baywatch's" star, executive producer, and the guy with the most to lose when the show's economics collapsed in the late '90s. Hawaii swooped in with a checkbook, a beach, and a contract clause renaming the show. It was Hasselhoff's last big lift on the show before he walked away. Correct Answer: 10
(Source)The first plan put the show in Avalon Beach, Australia, but 1,700 residents packed a town hall and voted against throwing the show a life preserver. Hawaii saw it differently, paying $2.7 million and refurbing the old "Hawaii Five-0" soundstage for the season 10 debut under the "Baywatch Hawaii" banner. Hasselhoff only lasted one season before he needed to blow himself up and get out of there.
