Correct Answer: Better Off Dead
The answer is: Better Off Dead. John Cusack wasn’t happy the first time he watched Better Off Dead — walking out of the movie after just 20 minutes. The next morning he told director Savage Steve Holland that he felt tricked and that it was the worst thing he’d ever seen. Holland was stunned because he loved his performance and Cusack actually helped him edit the movie. Cusack regrets his blowup, citing that he was a teenager still dealing with fame and just envisioned the final film differently. Source
