The answer is: DJ. Kristian Nairn’s role as Hodor on Game of Thrones was actually his first acting role. He’s originally a progressive house/trance DJ who used to be the resident DJ of Kremlin, a club located in Belfast. Since his explosion of popularity on GoT, Nairn’s toured as a DJ under the name “Rave of Thrones”, incorporating musical themes and costumes from the show.Source
