What did the first email ever sent say?
Were you an early adopter when email came out? Did you nab the username that's just your first initial and last name, without even needing to add some random number at the end? Do you still use one of the original email providers, like Yahoo! or Hotmail?
Even if you answered yes to all of those questions, you still can't hold a stick to the first ever piece of electronic mail sent — which, believe it or not, took place in the early '70s.
In what was a major milestone for what would become the internet, surely the author understood the gravity of the moment and wrote something worthy of the occasion. Right?

Correct Answer: QWERTYUIOP
The answer is: QWERTYUIOP. If you were about to send the first email ever, what would you write? Sure, it’s easy to say you’d write something meaningful knowing what email would become, but back in 1971, Ray Tomlinson wasn’t even sure his messaging system would work. Plus, since he was the only one to have email at the time, he could only send it to himself. Not knowing that the message would end up in the history books, he just ran his finger over the top row of keys on his keyboard and sent the message. Lazy.Source
