What does Axel Foley stuff into a police car’s tailpipe in "Beverly Hills Cop"?

Eddie Murphy's Axel Foley is the kind of street cop who can talk his way out of anything and charm his way into places he definitely shouldn't be. When he leaves Detroit for Beverly Hills in 1984's "Beverly Hills Cop" to investigate his friend's murder, the buttoned-up local police assign two detectives to babysit him and keep him out of trouble. What does Axel stuff into the police car's tailpipe so that he can actually go do some investigating?

Correct Answer: Bananas
(Source)Detectives Taggart and Rosewood are sitting in their unmarked car, trying to keep tabs on Axel. But Beverly Hills cops are no match for Axel. He grabs three bananas from a buffet, casually strolls over to their car, and shoves them deep into the tailpipe. When they start the car, it immediately stalls out, leaving them stranded while Axel drives off with a satisfied grin. If you've ever thought about trying to replicate the prank (don't), you should know that MythBusters tested it and found that the exhaust pressure would just blow the banana right out.
