Born in 1958 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Prince was truly one of a kind — but, sadly, yet another artist who had more music to give.
I like imagining Prince if somehow he hadn't made it as a musician. Working at a grocery store, going to the bank, picking up the kids from school — regular person stuff. It would have made for a great sitcom!
About the only thing that ever made Prince seem like a regular dude was the fact that he did, in fact, have a last name. Not that he needed it, but technically (minus perhaps the symbol era) he did have one.
What was it?

Correct Answer: Nelson
The answer is: Nelson. Prince’s full birth name was Prince Rogers Nelson. His father, a jazz musician, had used the stage name Prince Rogers and hoped that his newborn would find success with music. Prince initially rejected the name; as a child he preferred the nickname Skipper. Source
