What is the name of the dog on "Jonny Quest"?

It's been a little over a year since I polled readers on who their favorite animated dog is, and I got more than a few write-ins for the white bulldog with black markings around his eyes that look like a mask. While America has spent over 60 years falling in love with Bandit, "Jonny Quest" creator Doug Wildey always hated Bandit, and it was the one main character he didn't design. Wildey pitched a monkey and a small white cheetah, but the studio overruled him (allegedly because a toy manufacturer had a surplus of bulldog plushies from a deal that fell through). Bandit might've been unwanted and just a tool for merch, but he's appeared in every revival of the franchise since 1964. Sorry Doug, it turns out the studio made the right call and it gave us one of the best parts of the show.
