What is it about celebrities not using their real names? Who do they think they are, superheroes or something?
It’s not like you’re keeping a secret identity! I get wanting to have a cool-sounding name, but if Zack Galifianakis can rock that tongue twister of a last name and still make it big, what’s everyone else’s excuse?
Tina Fey’s name is such a short and memorable one, and yet it’s a lie. We’re talking about someone who has been pretty damn successful, from Saturday Night Live to 30 Rock to Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt to Mean Girls to — well, you get the idea.
Here’s the true name Tina doesn’t want you to know about! Or I guess would rather you just not call her by.

Correct Answer: Elizabeth Stamatina Fey
The answer is: Elizabeth Stamatina Fey. What did we do to deserve Tina Fey? Sure, not everything she touches is gold (I personally think Baby Mama was just kinda meh) but she certainly has more hits than misses. To be blunt, she could’ve walked away after writing and acting in Mean Girls and earned her place in history as a comedic legend. But her name in the history books wouldn’t be Tina Fey, but instead her birth name of Elizabeth Stamatina Fey. It wasn’t a thing about dropping her name after getting famous, either, since she apparently went by Tina (short for her middle name, Stamatina) ever since elementary school to sound more cool. She might’ve regretted it a little since she named and played a character named Liz in 30 Rock, so it all comes full circle.Source
