What movie has no Star Trek characters but was voted the 7th-best Star Trek film?
Between the original film series, the Next Generation, and the reboots, it's not too surprising that there are some 13 theatrical Star Trek movies in all (and counting).
But what was surprising was when Trekkies got together to rank their favorite Star Trek movies — and somehow this one that doesn't even have any Star Trek characters came in at number seven.

Attendees of the 2013 Star Trek convention in Las Vegas voted on their favorite Star Trek movies, ranking Galaxy Quest as the seventh greatest Star Trek film of all time, despite not having any official tie to the franchise.But it does make sense considering the movie is essentially a love letter to Star Trek and its diehard Trekkie fanbase.Source
