What show did Scott Baio star in before "Charles in Charge"?

If you don’t immediately start humming the theme song when you see the words "Charles in Charge" or even just vaguely think about Scott Baio, then frankly, we’re not friends anymore.
That might be because at the beginning of the show’s run in 1984, the song was the most memorable thing about it. Ratings weren’t great and the show was put on hiatus before the first season was even fully complete. But like many a network sitcom before, syndication proved to be the sweet spot for our guy Charles (no last name), and the show was brought back in the middle of the 1986-87 season, ultimately running for five seasons and 126 episodes.
Still, the theme song and opening credits are probably the most beloved and remembered part of the show. Well, that and the lead actor, Scott Baio. But Baio was no stranger to the small screen when he took on the daring role of a kid in New Jersey doing his best to help an affluent family as a live-in caretaker.

Correct Answer: Happy Days
The answer is: Happy Days. At 16, Baio landed the role of Chachi Arcola, the cousin of the Fonz from Happy Days. He reprised the role in the spin-off, Joanie Loves Chachi, which was sadly cancelled after just 17 episodes. But not to fret, Baio would soon get another leading TV role and boy would he take charge of it.Source
