What was Elvis' final feature film role?

The King of Rock and Roll had conquered music, but by the late 1960s his movie career was sliding into formulaic beach party musicals. After his legendary 1968 comeback special reminded everyone why he mattered, Elvis was ready to leave Hollywood behind. What was Elvis' final feature film role?

Correct Answer: Change of Habit
(Source)Elvis made 31 films between 1956 and 1969, and "Change of Habit" was his Hollywood swan song. The 1969 film paired Elvis with Mary Tyler Moore in a story about a doctor who falls for what he thinks is a regular nurse, not realizing she's actually an undercover nun (I don't get it either). For the first and only time in his career, Elvis got to play a professional man instead of another singing race car driver. Colonel Tom Parker even thought it had Oscar potential, but he famously told Elvis "Don't go buying no tuxedos" because he knew the Academy wouldn't take his client seriously. Elvis almost revived his acting career with a role in Barbra Streisand's "A Star Is Born," but Parker's outrageous demands killed the deal and the part went to Kris Kristofferson instead.
