Detective Sonny Crockett cruised through Miami's neon-lit streets in a black 1972 Ferrari Daytona Spyder during the show's first two seasons. Well, at least it looked like one. The car was really a Corvette sent undercover with some modifications from the production team. Ferrari actually stepped in and demanded the show stop using replicas, and offered two genuine Testarossas.
