What was the original title of "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids"?

Rick Moranis became a household name thanks to the movie "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids." The 1989 Disney comedy saw Moranis play the bumbling inventor Wayne Szalinski, who accidentally "shrunk" his kids. It was a box-office smash and is still held up as a Disney original classic, but it started as a totally different film in a different genre with a different cast and a different title. What was the original title of "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids"?
▼
Correct Answer: Teeny Weenies
(Source)This wholesome Disney family adventure started as something dreamed up by Stuart Gordon and Brian Yuzna, the horror masterminds behind gory cult classics like "Re-Animator" and "From Beyond." They somehow convinced Disney to let them terrorize children with giant insects and planned to call it "Teeny Weenies." The studio cycled through names like "Grounded" and "The Big Backyard" before settling on a line of actual dialogue from the script. The casting went through similar chaos since the whole thing was originally written for Chevy Chase, but he was busy with "Christmas Vacation," so John Candy got offered the role, declined, and suggested his buddy Rick Moranis instead. And after all of that, we got "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" which is grammatically incorrect and never quite sounds right when you say it out loud.
