What’s the name of the bowling alley in "The Big Lebowski"?

There are few castings as spot on as Jeff Bridges playing The Dude in the Coen Brothers’ 1998 cult classic, "The Big Lebowski." It’s hard to imagine anyone else abiding in quite the same way.
Jeffrey "The Dude" Lebowski basically has two hobbies: being a slacker and bowling. Throughout the film, these two hobbies collide as the Dude is drawn into a mystery that he’s frankly not suited to handle. And throughout the film, bowling and fellow bowlers play a significant role, culminating in nihilist Jesus Quintana (John Turturro) setting the Dude’s car on fire.
Whether it’s the balls, pins, or just the entire concept of the game itself, bowling plays an important role (or should we say roll?). What’s the name of the bowling alley the Dude and his cohorts frequent?

Correct Answer: Hollywood Star Lanes
The answer is: Hollywood Star Lanes. Hollywood Star Lanes was a real bowling alley off Santa Monica Boulevard. It opened in 1960 and the crew rented it out for a full three weeks to film the movie — but sadly that couldn’t save the 32-lane alley, as it closed in 2002.Source
